Mossy Meanderings … Package includes 2 nights ocean view room accommodation in one of our standard view guest rooms and a 3.5 hour guided hike through the coastal rainforest on the scenic Hurtado Trail with Terracentric Coastal Adventures. Explore the forest on an interpretive hike... Your guide will share their extensive knowledge of our local plants, their traditional and modern day uses, and we'll likely even find orchids! Beautiful views from the bluff overlooking the ocean are a great place to stop for a rest and a snack.

Zodiac Boat Tour Package #2 - Mitlenatch Island Explorer - available May & June
Calling all birders and naturalists! This package includes 2 nights ocean view room accommodation in one of our standard view guest rooms and a six hour Zodiac boat trip with Terracentric Coastal Adventures to the dynamic and distinct ecosystem of Mitlenatch Island Provincial Nature Park.
The Zodiac boat tour to Mitlenatch Island, nicknamed the “Galapagos of the Georgia Strait”, offers an exciting tour of the most unique island in the Strait of Georgia. Mitlenatch Island is a nesting colony, home to 30,000 nesting gulls amongst others species of sea birds, it is home to a multitude of other marine mammals including otters, seals and sea lions, and it also provides the ideal conditions for a range of wildflowers that you won’t find anywhere else in the area – chocolate lilies, prickly pear cactus, blue and white camas just to name a few. After exploring the spectacular variety of spring and summer wild flowers, enjoy a delicious homemade organic lunch. Our travel to and from the island includes passing through the Ragged Islands (Copeland Islands Marine Park), the Twin and Cortez Islands. Porpoise and dolphin sightings are common on this trip! Kayak Package – Salish Sea Explorer – 3.5 hrs
Package includes 2 nights ocean view room accommodation in one of our standard view guest rooms, and a fact and folklore filled 3.5 hour Guided Kayak Tour with Terracentric Coastal Adventures. Learn all about the history of the area and it’s peoples as you paddle along the shoreline and through the beautiful waters of the area.
This interpretive kayak program explores Lund and the surrounding area by sea kayak. Hear intriguing stories of First Nations’ ingenuity and colourful tales of early settlers and their antics. Paddle the ragged shoreline with your Story-teller and Guide, learning about the area. No experience required! This program is a great way to get introduced to the area and to paddling! Recommended gear: non-slippery footwear, water bottle, clothes for layering. No kayaking experience necessary (Terracentric provides safety training at the start of each tour). Lifejackets and other kayaking gear is provided.

Desolation Sound Zodiac Boat & Kayak Combo Tour
You CAN do it all in one day! Experience Desolation Sound by Zodiac and meet up with waiting kayaks for the paddle back through the islands to Lund. One of our most popular tours! Following a pre trip orientation by your program leaders that will ensure you get the most out of the day, you and your group will set out aboard our Zodiac for a shortened marine sight seeing tour of the area. Listen as your on board Naturalist and Guide begins to weave together the geological, natural and human stories of the the Pacific Northwest. Travelling among some of the outer islands we will round Sarah Point, entering into the Sound that Captain George Vancouver found so Desolate all those years ago. There in a nearby secluded bay we will rendezvous with our kayaks. Following our usual Sea Kayak introduction we will set out, paddling along craggy rocky shores covered in a vast array of intertidal life. We meander home, weaving our way through the archipelago of islands that compose the Copeland Island Marine Park, known locally as the "Raggeds". As we paddle through the last remaining 3% of the Coastal Douglas Fir Ecosystem in the world, our interpretation includes an overview of this complex ecological area. A delicious shore lunch served at an ancient beach landing site, with as many local and organic ingredients as possible. As the afternoon draws to an end we complete our day's journey by paddling into the Lund Harbour.Recommended gear: Sturdy footwear, water, clothing for layering, sunglasses, hat.
