All guest rooms in our restored 1905 hotel have been tastefully renovated to provide conveniences & amenities of modernity,
while maintaining a charm & warmth of days past. Our three room types range in layout and decor, however all satisfy or exceed the criteria required for our 3.5 star Canada Select rating. Coffee makers, hairdryers, tv's, dvd's and mini-fridges with complimentary bottled water & air conditioning are standard in all guest rooms. Complimentary continental breakfast is available monday - friday, 7:30-10 am. A full breakfast menu is available saturday & sunday 8-11:30 am in our Dining Room. Standard Room Amenities:
Our rooms are configured with either one or two beds, at least one of which is queen or larger in size. Many standard units offer at least a partial view of either Lund Harbour or Finn Bay. Lund Harbour rooms are being re-renovated for spring 2008. All beds feature fluffy duvets and high quality linens, and all bathrooms are equipped with full size shower/tubs. Wireless hi-speed internet is available in some rooms for an extra charge.
Deluxe Balcony Rooms:
Our deluxe rooms offer all standard amenities mentioned above, and offer private decks with a lovely view of Lund Harbour. These rooms were redone for 2007 with upgraded furnishings, king sized beds and upgraded bedding, including duvets and high quality linens. High speed wireless internet is available at an extra charge.
Superior Boutique Style Oceanfront Rooms:
If a luxurious, one of a kind experience is what you are seeking, look no further than our oceanfront boutique style rooms. Located at the front of the hotel, these specialty rooms feature large windows and sliding doors to private oceanfacing balconies overlooking Malaspina Strait and Savary Island. They are luxuriantly furnished with king-sized 4 poster beds with luxury linens as well as overstuffed occassional chairs & ottomans. The bathrooms are oversized & marble-tiled with soaker tubs and robes. Decorative fireplaces, solid pine furnishings and hardwood floors add to the ambiance. Hi-speed internet access (extra charge) is available as well as all other standard amenities. Ask about our romantic getaway packages!
The Lund Hotel is pleased to offer our guests a smoke free environment. As such we ask smoking guests to refrain from smoking in their rooms to avoid an automatic $200 sanitizing free from being applied to their credit card.
Pet Policy: Well behaved companion pets are welcome to join their keeper in our pet-friendly wing for $10 extra/night. We ask that pets not be left in rooms unsupervised for the comfort of the pet as well as other guests. Assisting dogs, of course, are welcome throughout our property.
