Savary Island ...

If you have a free afternoon during your visit to Lund, take a few hours to explore Savary island, the so called "tropical" island of the Pacific Northwest.  Wander down to the Lund Water Taxi office at the water's edge adjacent to the Lund Government dock and find out when the next water taxi is departing.  Whether you decide to walk or rent a bicyle and ride, it is a friendly island with a well developed network of trails and unpaved roads that make it easy to travel across.  The white sand beaches on the south side of the island are unforgettable.
